@Razieluigi Because I already own a plethora of computing devices that can emulate consoles to a degree that you're not going to notice the difference. Not knocking FPGA but it doesn't bring anything to the table for couch emulation. I'd definitely go that route for building a cabinet though.
Who cares what the guy said about it. It's not like the armor design suddenly became some progressive, woke-glorifying armor. It's the same exact armor, but with shorts underneath. All the tropes of the scantily clad, ineffective-yet-sexy armor that doesn't protect anything vital are still there. So what was the point of the change? Someone whose job is probably unnecessary thought it would net less revenue if they kept the original design? They should have just kept it all like it was originally made.
Modern censorship isn't anything except stupid, and this is a glowing example.
@PinderSchloss Nintendo is pure evil because ... they're a business? Ahahahahaha mmk
@KingMike Yes, an unbounded number of free copies dilutes the value of something. It's not rocket science to figure out how disingenuous your comparisons are.
Honestly, these stories are always funny. The childish arguments never end. The overzealous, corporate protectionism never ends. The reality is these sorts of things will be targeted, and we're almost never in the right to be emulating the games. Does that mean don't do it? Of course not. Emulate away. But civil disobedience has to come at a cost, otherwise you're saying you're a magical unicorn for whom rules and consequences shouldn't apply.
@JonathanChapman Walking around on pins and needles isn't the same as "not giving death threats." It's not the same as violating the license something is distributed under either.

I think FPGA gaming is pointless and really just a waste of money, but man... I might buy some of their hardware because this is how you do it.
