I'm interested in this for sure, but most of the early reviews are calling out hand cramping issues and poor viewing angles. At the price, I think these shouldn't be issues. So I will pass unless I actually play it and determine the reviewers were wrong.
I can't say it's going to succeed long-term, but I really want to play this system! The original Intellivision was my first experience with video games. I remember my Mom, Dad, and older sister sitting around playing games like Frog Bog, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Space Armada, and many others! There's something about playing simple arcade style games in a group. I'm not sure I'll get one of these, but I'm thinking about it.
The original Intellivision was my experience playing video games, so I have a soft spot in my heart for that name. It looks like a fun pickup and play party system for local play. That also intrigues me. However, the price is very steep in my opinion. I like the retro wood grain edition.
Like most members posting above, I'm very interested, and I would love to order one of these.....but I'm not ready to throw down the cash. Seems really cool but a bit overpriced.
I'm going to sign up for the notice just in case I change my mind.
I owned a Game Gear when it originally came out. I have no desire to own one or a retro remake of one ever again. It wasn't a good system and IMO, it didn't have a good collection of games.
On top of this, I think this thing is a joke, and I'm unwilling to pay the asking price for a joke.

Re: Intellivision Releases An Amico Unboxing, Showcases A Functioning System
I'm doubtful I'll get this, but I hope it works out. I like the premise for this system and some it's unique features.

@dkxcalibur Also, I saw Tommy on Mega64 in the past! I love this guy!

Re: Hardware Review: PC Engine Mini - Still An Acquired Taste, Even After 30 Years
I was the only person I know that had a TG16 growing up. I loved it; but if it doesn't have Tricky Kick then it's a "no buy" for me.
Re: Hardware Review: The Retro-Bit Go Retro! Portable Is A Rose-Tinted Disappointment
So the control pad works identical to the joy con sticks? Ha Ha!
