As a kid, I remember looking through magazines such as the Official Nintendo one, getting really excited to play on this. When I discovered that it wasn't getting a UK release, I was gutted. Back in 2004/2005, I would have only been 14 or 15 and wasn't overly familiar with the world of importing back then. Ever since, I have always been a huge WarioWare fan, I've picked up every release and has since gone on to become one of my favourite Nintendo franchises. A couple of Christmases ago, I saw a shop have a copy of WarioWare Twisted in their collectors cabinet. I was umming and arring as to whether or not I should have picked it up. After a half an hour phone call discussing it with with my girlfriend, we eventually settled on it being a Christmas present, but it would be the only present I would receive that year because of how expensive it was. I went up to the counter, told them I wanted it, and they told me I couldn't have it because not 5 minutes ago, they had sold it on their eBay store. I was wounded. Why did I not just pick it up?! Seeing this one continuously skyrocket in value is something that has always made me sad, but just this month, funnily enough, I thought stuff it and went on ebay to track a copy down. The prices were insane, but was adamant that I would find a copy that I would at least be happy to part my cash for. Wouldn't you know it, I found it at the same price I saw it at that retro games shop a couple of years ago. It's fantastic. It's so much fun and is easily the best in the series in my opinion. With Switch having gyro, I'm hoping they take a leaf out of Kirby's Tilt n Tumbles book and release it on NSO for everyone to play.
Got one for me and my son yesterday. We were totally let down. We got a cardboard picture that you had to stick stickers on. So disappointing. I know McDonald's have been doing cardboard for a while now, but at least the Mario Movie ones were cool 3D models that could be displayed once built. This was just......rubbish. Ah well, the Happy Meal box was cool at least 🤷
And this list is just the tip of the iceberg. The vast majority of this list are first party titles. There are so many more third party titles to try out too. Sure, there is a ton of shovelware, but go through it and you'll find the Wii's catalogue to be much deeper than you thought. Some examples being:
House of the Dead: Overkill De Blob 1+2 Deadly Creatures Calling Boom Blox Rayman Origins Speed Racer: The Videogame Gunblade NY + L.A. MachineGuns A Boy and his Blob Martian Panic Cursed Mountain Eledees Epic Mickey Geometry Wars: Galaxies Disaster: Day of Crisis Kororinpa Ghost Squad Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up Red Steel 2 NBA Jam Dead Space Extraction Ivy the Kiwi? Bit. Trip Complete Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Zack and Wiki: Quest for BarboroTreasure Lost in Shadow
And they're just the ones I can think of.
Plus there's so many more first party titles that haven't mentioned too. Seriously, I don't think people know just how rich that systems library actually is
Really hope they haven't pulled the plug on Sega Forever. It's great that a games company has something dedicated to the things of the past. It's a great way to learn about things and is also still quite a unique concept Sega has done. Nintendo, Sony, SNK, etc could quite easily do something quite similar if they wanted to as they each have an incredibly rich history of stuff that I'm sure people would be dying to discover. Fingers crossed this isn't the end.
I've been following this from the get go and I'm really invested in it. Personally, I think if its marketed right, it'll do better than what people think.
Also........new Earthworm Jim. Need I say more? 🤷♂️

Re: Sonic Fans Want To Raise $4,000 To Preserve Insanely Rare 'SegaSonic' Arcade Game
I have wanted to play this for years and now there might actually be a chance. This is fantastic news. Let's hope something comes out of this.

Re: Hardware Review: SNK Neo Geo Arcade Stick Pro - Better Than The Capcom Home Arcade?
Looks cool, but at $130, I'll just stick with my mini and the additional 20 games. Perhaps when a price drops occurs, I may be more tempted
