Re: "They Just Didn't Offer Us The Project" - Why Streets Of Rage 3 Is The Black Sheep Of The Family

I've never gotten this widespread sentiment that 3 is inferior. I love 'em all, but 3 is EASILY my favorite, including the BGM. Secret characters, multiple endings, new moves, more elaborate story, numerous setpieces, and great graphics made it feel really decadent for a Genesis action title.

"It feels the same from start to finish." This doesn't ring true to me at all! I mean what about all the gameplay-impacting setpieces (the bulldozer, the train track, the elevator, the bomb rush) and distinct locales? You go from a pier to a nightclub with clever diegetic BGM to an underground ninja lair to a construction site and on and on. I don't get it, man.
