Okay, the game roster isn't too bad. The crowning Jewel being AvsP for sure. One of my fav games of all time. Long wanted in a legit home-format. But it is odd that D&D games aren't on there. Tho u can play those if u snagged em up on the WiiU back in the day.
Ok but there was literally an article on nlife recently about systems dying from age. And it's also true that physical media, cart or disc ultimately has a limited lifespan of use, no matter the degree of preservation. CDs go bad eventually. Look it up. Carts dryrot basically.
Find a way to run roms and I'm in. Sadly classic media is at a point where it's all failing and games are no longer playable from the original carts and discs. I get what they're going for, but roms are just practical. Although it's nice that you can play and backup original media, if you do have it. The individual and extra components for all Cart based systems sounds very costly. Honestly a straight up console-type unabashed emulation box that just does literally everything PS2/GC and earlier would really be ideal.
Hm, first Ive heard of this but its very sleek and interesting. Not sure that I love the modules idea, you'd have to buy alot of those and then have them lying around. I love the interface though and I guess you can copy your actual games/carts/discs to the unit to create your own library, which is cool. Everyone's gonna dbzdbndgnzdgdg, but xan you load roms? If so, then this thing is a beast. If not, then it still would be an awesome way to play some of the old games I have hard copies of but no current-gen system to play them on. (Like Castlevania SOTN and Rondo of Blood on Saturn). Not sure I love paying $250 to do that but for the right customer its a great idea. Didnt see anything in there about GC games, not that there were many worth playing again, but there were a few that i loved.
Sweet, looks and sounds alot like Code of Princess. Was just digging through some old Saturn stuff to see what I might have missed, will have to give this one a try.
