Re: Please, Please, Please Treasure Your Offline Multiplayer Buddy

When I was a kid I lived one block away from my cousin. We grew up playing videogames together. My first time playing SNES was the Christmas he got one and I spent most of the day at his house playing Turtles in Time. We played so many hours of International Super Star Soccer Deluxe, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter on our SNESes too! And so many other games back when renting games was a thing.

As we grew older, we started doing it less often, but we ocassionally had nights of Wii U offline gaming with our friends in common. Coincidentally, I read this as I'm waiting for him to be off work and play some Mario Kart Online. We live in different timezones now, so it's even harder to schedule!

Playing online is great, but it's definitely not the same. Luckily I still have a partner who I can play games with offline every now and then, but I miss having lots of friends to just get together and play videogames with!

Although staying up until 4am playing Mario Kart 64 or Perfect Dark costs much more once you're old!
