@TheWingedAvenger Personally, I would cite Splatterhouse & Gekisha over all of those games that you mention. 1941 is also a SuperGrafx title. I don’t think many fans of the system would necessarily list Order of the Griffon as an essential title.
What I find also interesting is that this reproduction game has no tear strip in the factory seal. The original PC Engine Rondo of Blood had a horizontal tear strip about 1cm from the bottom. Fact. PCE Works games NEVER have a tear strip. Whether WATA were aware of PCE Works is irrelevant to me… The game didn’t have the tear strip, so they ‘should’ have realised something was iffy. All PC Engine official releases had a tear strip, most vertical, but some horizontal (like for Dracula X). Just another layer of fail by WATA.
