You pretty much nailed it. I would also add that it doesn't hurt that it's being done by a company in the UK and I'm pretty sure Nintendo Life is based out of the UK. Not a lot of retro companies that I know of are based in the UK and are making this big of a splash.
I'm a little bit more interested but I would be curious to see how the emulation is so I'll be waiting to get feedback before I seriously contemplate getting this.
I want this to be legit as having 10 systems hooked up is not realistic so this would simplify everything and make it better for usage on a HDTV. I'm tempted to get it but I know I need to wait until post release to see if it works well.

I'm tempted to pick this up but for now I will hold off due to the uncertainty right now. The Lynx collection is especially intriguing.
Re: Evercade Lineup Grows Thanks To "Modern Retro" Titles Xeno Crisis And Tanglewood
It's neat for sure though compared to the other collections it's a little thin in content for the price.

Re: Hands On: Exploring The Future Of Retro Gaming With Polymega
This is amazing and I will get getting one of these day one. I no longer have to fear about cartridges going bad.

Looks good, glad I didn't pre-order it though. Sadly stuff like this is what makes Kickstarters hard to support though I've done 3 of them.
