@Zenszulu you're right, and it'll all be down to money at the end of the day - but if nothing else, it'd be a good showing for Xbox's new preservation team to try and accomplish something like this! But more than anything, I'm just annoyed that I didn't find out about the game until well after it'd been delisted!
@Zenszulu oh I'm sure it's not that simple (just look how long it took to make Scott Pilgrim happen!) but you'd think something like this - even on a temporary basis, would be an easy money spinner for all parties!
Honestly, more than anything - what surprises me the most is that Activision didn't renew the licence for the game, what with the new film and all... it just seems like an easy way to make bank!
@Beetlebum91 how did that compare to N64 prices? Over here N64 games were so much more expensive than playstation games - and that's before you consider the platinum range and regular sales!
@Beetlebum91 we did indeed - at the time the N64 was substantially more expensive, IIRC the average RRP for new games was about £60 compared to £40 for a Playstation title, but even beyond that the playstation seemed to have more fans than the N64 (I also worked at Game UK for a bit back then, and PSX was always the top seller)
@GrailUK the Spectrum Next is definitely legit - they've released several batches of hardware (I've even played on one at Blackpool Replay) I don't know if there is current stock available, but they are definitely for real

Saturn or Dreamcast? Decisions, decisions... I'll take both/either to be fair!
