@thiz Yeah, if they haven't changed the idea, the idea is that you're supposed to buy an external disc drive and connect it to your console, and then you can buy physical games for it.
The console might sell 20k units at the most, but the disc drive probably isn't going to sell more than 50 units, if it even gets released.
@Axlroselm Same here. I got the NES mini and thought it was a good idea. Played through lots of games on it, then I got the SNES mini and realized there was gonna be cables and consoles everywhere if I kept buying them, so I got the Switch game with a Megadrive collection instead of the Megadrive mini.
@malcire Yeah, but it's still strange how the censors seem to ignore pirated games. Even if Nintendo aren't complaining about infringement, the government censors should be interesting in censoring the games on pirated systems as much as on legit systems.

@SpringDivorce It's just going to be a £100 brick at that point, because they won't keep the online store open, and it has no physical media.

Re: Hardware Review: Believe The Hype, Polymega Is The Ultimate All-In-One Retro Machine
@stevep They've licensed a lot of games. Licensing games is not expensive or hard, unless they belong to certain companies such as Nintendo.

Re: New Game Footage Suggests The Intellivision Amico Will Struggle To Pull Families Away From Switch
This project made it so Doug TenNapel got Earthworm Jim back, so a lot of good came out of it.
