@nocdaes totally with you mate, I play & buy more retro stuff. From Megadrive, Snes, PC Engine, I'm more excited for the new Megadrive game Earthion that's out this year or next. Most modern games bore me, can't stand open world, roguelike, demons souls crap. It's just endless & the same cut & paste stuff. The only modern release that's got me is Astrobot on PS5.

@SuntannedDuck2 I totally agree with what your saying. It's just so annoying, especially when I look at VR. Easily one of the best games is Astrobot, yet Sony decides not to bring the new title to VR2. Then their's the content, rail shooters, gun games are the perfect fit. Just imagine a new version of Starblade from Namco or Silpheed from Segs, or a Starfox clone. These games have the potential to be incredible in VR the sense of scale immersion would be out of this world. But no its the same puzzle or fps games.

@SuntannedDuck2 agree with what your saying. Personally the industry is consumed with profit & therefore no risks are taken. It just churns out the same stuff over & over. Which is a shame, doesn't the industry realise the demographic that play games doesn't just stop at 20 somethings. I'm 53 probably why I love time extension. The games I love aren't produced anymore unfortunately. There are some gems for sure now but I'm more excited for indie Megadrive games like Earthion, ZPF. Astrobot on PS5 looks amazing, that's something to look forward to. I invested in VR2 looks like thsts dead already. Again so many missed opportunities for VR. But devs play it safe & churn out the same generic fps games.
