@Antman1686 yes they definitely look like a blast. I've got a big back catalogue of stuff. Keep buying but times stretched unfortunately. Like I said Infinos Gaiden is superb, so these should be great and for the price can't grumble.

@Antman1686 to be honest, haven't tried them yet. I never really knew about thsse either. I have Infinos Gaiden on Steam which is stunning.

Yes downloaded to my Switch 2, I also have Infinos Gaiden on Steam deck which is brilliant.

Amazing system, I owned an AES years ago, unfortunately sold it. I invested in buying an arcade cab. I do own a Neo CD top loader though which is still brilliant.

@bring_on_branstons thanks i might invest in buying a copy. I feel exactly the same about VR2, a complete wasted opportunity from Sony especially.

Personally still prefer the Megadrive version, always found the SGX version to fast, making it even tougher. If Sega had given the conversion a bigger meg cartridge the Megadrive version would of been even better.

@bring_on_branstons im glad someone agrees about VR2. Unfortunately some on a lot of these forums are in denial & get aggressive when I say negative things about it lol. I sold mine on, im done with VR certainly from Sony anyways. Talking about Ghosts of Yotei is it any good, to be honest not the biggest fan of open world stuff. Find em overwhelming & time consuming lol. But it does look incredible.

@bring_on_branstons yeah completely agree, unfortunately Sony & Nintendo are getting complacent. Nintendo with key cards, for me Sony are the worst. I spent over 500 quid on VR2 which again they have basically abandoned it. Its a brilliant piece of kit but support is practically non existent. I love Astrobot, when they announced it would be flat only, I knew then they had no faith in the device they created!! Again i feel the arrogance from Sony & the attitude they seem to have. And don't get me started on PS5 pro, lol. Yes in my ideal world Sega, NEC, Nintendo would still be king. Thankfully I love retro gaming more than modern. And I own all the legacy systems from way back.

@bring_on_branstons I agree to a certain extent, but in my opinion Xbox hasn't been competition to Sony since 360. Would be nice to see a new competitor come along like Sony did back with the PS1. Or maybe Microsoft will turn things around.

Absolutely incredible, wish this tech had seen the light of day. The 8bit micro would of lasted even longer.

Not sure about the white, i have an original Vectrex. I doubt this mini system will deliver the vector monitor experience.

Amazing gsme, shows how brilliant the Snes is, the music alone is a masterpiece. Thankfully still have a PAL boxed copy

Looks pretty cool, luckily I have an original Vectrex.Such an amazing system. Nothing will simulate the vector monitor though. I have emulations but its not the same.

Had this on Amiga, its an ok shooter, but still needed refining. Every shmup on Amiga was unbalanced, poor level design, hopefully this will be sorted out for this remaster.

@AllieKitsune both the Engine & Snes have amazing shooters. Lords, gates of Thunder are prime examples of incredible horizontal games. Aero blasters, Rtype. The Snes had lazy programming regardless of its slower cpu. Super Aleste, Rendering rangers, Macross, Spriggan powered, all run without added chips in the carts. Back to the article yes the Megadrive is incredible for sure i love it. But the 16bit gen overall was/is brilliant. Thats the point I'm making.

Yes i was going to preorder last week, i thought they were that popular, they sold out. Obviously not the case. Well at least I didn't miss out

Great article, brilliant game on a brilliant console. The 16bit era is definitely the golden age of videogaming in my opinion. How many consoles have amazing new games developed for them at 37 years old. No modern consoles will have this privilege I'm sure. Great to hear they plan on making more

What a load of nonsense, however this game was made its incredible. I very much doubt AI was used though. Just great coding with an amazing soundtrack.

Unfortunately the Megadrive version should of been released first. I bought the Steam version & enjoying playing it on Steam deck. I have already preordered physical Switch version with custom joypad. Will definitely buy the Megadrive version when its up. Unfortunately I knew the rom would get out there.

Personally not interested in this Commodore buy out anyway. These companies are playing to Commodore enthusiasts with products that aren't anything like the original kit. I have an original C64 & the mini from retrogames. That's enough for me.

Always remember following the development of this system in Edge magazine. I had the original 3DO at the time. Supposedly the M2 was going to come as an upgrade for the existing console. Unfortunately it was canned, would of been a powerful system. Probably given the PS1 a run for its money.

Sad news but I can wait, looks brilliant. Obviously they have had a big demand for physical copies.

Yes I was looking at getting one of these rumble controllers from LRG but obviously it doesn't work with every game. I wasn't sure and reached out to LRG but just radio silence, nice customer service !!

Well I thought it was great, played on my Steam deck last night. Nice visuals, tight controls & gameplay. Look forward to playing the finished product.

Love the Snes, but have zero interest in Doom, one of the most overrated games ever.

@Krambo42 I love shmups, the trouble with playing the likes of Last resort or Alpha mission on this device is seeing the bullets. I may get one just for the collection, I'm a sucker for anything Neo Geo.

@Krambo42 yes i had the Capcom pocket, Dpad not great. Personally I like these units but the screens are to small for my aging eyes lol.

Shame, would of loved another Thunderforce on Megadrive. To be honest its about time Sega gave us Thunderforce 7.

Its dead that's obvious, what happened to Moon patrol though. That looked pretty damn good, maybe that will get a Switch or PS5 release.

@Ekkobelli I just preordered the Switch version with the 8bitdo controller couldn't resist. But hopefully the Megadrive version will come soon enough. And I'll have that one as well.

Obviously they can't patch the Megadrive version. So they are going to play it to death to iron out any bugs. I will get both versions anyway.

Still have an original copy of Delta, look forward to getting this as well. Hopefully a physical copy incoming.

I'm not surprised, one it's brilliant, and it's probably the last innovative console we will see from Nintendo. Quirky tech is obviously to risky in this ***** show industry now.

Now if this is legit, this is the sort of game I want in the home. Doubtful in this age of gaming. Years ago this would of been available with a lightgun. From the footage it looks like it's using the Galuga engine.
