@Magic_Salmon_Pro cuz believe it not some Americans aren't just interested in the stuff that's made for us. I like stuff from all over the world why would I limit myself to my region. It's just odd because you talk about Americans like they're knuckle draggers or something
@Magic_Salmon_Pro I don't agree at all. Maybe that's for the mouth breathers but I'm from the States and I've been consuming American and non American media my entire life. Nintendo and Sony being the first two out of country influences I got through Nintendo systems and PlayStation.
@Grackler I'm not trying to download euros contributions to gaming at all. I just figured they'd take more cracks at it especially considering the information you just provided. I think there is a market for anything if marketed correctly. I love consoles even ones that I'll buy and only play a handful of times.
@Protion9 I feel like it's one of those things that they didn't see a market for it in the 90s and just threw in the towel. I wonder how the idea would float in today's market?
@avcrypt i would agree with you there. Whenever it comes to console sales Europe is always on the lower end. But I've read that when they stopped stalking Xbox people were saying they still want the console there. So I think with the proper marketing it could work. You'd just have to cater to something uniquely euro
@jimmytodgers yeah I'm aware of that thanks lol. I meant more like Japan is about the same size as a country in Europe and they dominate. Just thought it would be cool if we got some sort of cooky European console someday. If I had to bet I'd bet on the Germans.
@HoyeBoye I'm trying to get into systems I've never seen or used before. This is definitely one of them I've wanted to try but not only are the games expensive but the system is ridiculously expensive. There aren't even any specific games I want for the system I just want to play stuff I've never played before.
I loved this thing and still have it even tho it no longer works. Probably just needs a new battery or something. This was one of the fun things to carry around on the playground for sure
I'm still waiting for croc even tho I ordered it in November, I plan on grabbing this too buy I hope it doesn't get delayed or anything like croc has been.
This is an extremely important subject for me. I do everything I can to preserve the games I already own but the fact that some games just disappear never to be again is *****.
I'm genuinely surprised by this. My friends and I were discussing a few months ago how GameStop can become a better store and this was my biggest idea for them to try out. So I'm interested to see how it goes
@Olliemar28 see I didn't know the 2600+ could play 7800 carts as well. I agree with the other comment above just on asterisks I love the 2600 with the wood panelling and the classic joystick. It's just going to be on my desk so cable length shouldn't be an issue. Plus you get the ten in one cart with the 2600+. Thanks for the info I think I'll stick with the 2600+
Ok I'm insanely interested in this but can someone help me out as I'm not an atari guy I was born in 91. I was going to get a 2600+ but if this can play those carts should I just get this? Would it be like having both? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Evercade's First Neo Geo Products Are A Handheld And Game Collection Cartridge
@N00BiSH I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't have it too
Re: Evercade's First Neo Geo Products Are A Handheld And Game Collection Cartridge
I'm so excited for this. I've been wanting to try neogeo for awhile now and cannot afford the hardware. This is perfect for someone like my.

@HoyeBoye again if I were a millionaire that sounds like something I would do

Why hasn't Europe had a console on the world stage yet? I've always wondered this.
Re: Turns Out Ken Kutaragi Has A Nintendo PlayStation Kicking Around In A Cupboard
I'm not even embarrassed to admit this but this is something I would buy if I was a millionaire and wouldn't even care about the price.
Re: Retro Fighters' PlayStation 'Defender' Controller Is Getting An Impressive Upgrade
I can't tell if that's white or classic PlayStation grey but I think I would go for the transparent ones. I have enough white and black electronics

Re: Three Years Later, And Hyperkin's PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 Clone Is Finally Coming Out
This is great as someone who's never played the system I have been trying to find a less expensive way to do so

Re: The "Sega Saturn Slim" Is Now Our Most-Wanted Hardware Of 2024
Sega should be doing stuff like this. There's obviously a market
Re: Fancy Owning The SNES PlayStation? You Can Now Make Your Own (Kinda)
This should be a collaboration retro console between Sony and Nintendo. A ps1/snes in this shell would sell like hot cakes
Re: Argonaut "Hadn't Completely Understood" How Much You All Love Croc
I've been waiting for the one. With this gex and tomba now joining crash and Spyro I have pretty much all the best ps1 games ready to go
