I love me some GamesMaster, watched it religiously at the time, but Aussie telly’s Good Game (2006-2016) and Good Game: Spawn Point (2010-Present) are also excellent and all available to watch on YouTube.

I’m downloading the Under Consoletation podcast right now, sounds great.

At an eye watering $400 that’ll be a pass. Although I think it looks gorgeous.

Have you watched Dino Charge? It’s absolutely brilliant!

My young cousins introduced me to Pokemon. I couldn’t believe that the game was possible on the GameBoy. Been playing ever since.

I was never big into Mortal Kombat but I loved the old tv series and the new Funko figures look awesome

If it can be hacked maybe the display options can be fixed as well?

1983 was all about the ZX Spectrum, Commodore, Atari, Game & Watch and arcades for me. Interesting to learn what else was available at the time (that I’d never heard of).

You should search YouTube and see if there's a fix for that.
I had something similar with a modded original Gameboy and managed to sort it.

Along with Wave Race: Blue Storm this game is one of the reasons my Wii often replaces my PS4 under the telly.

Played this to death at the time - N64 games were crazy expensive. The sound/effects for this game are excellent. Still never made it past a particularly horrendous platforming bit near the end 😓
