This just looks like an Aya Neo 2, the shell is exactly the same. Obviously the magic modules and the chip is different but....that price. I applaud Aya for their ingenuity, not sure it will have too many takers though, it is a novel idea still...
@Truegamer79 they offer their views on other systems/games that Switch owners may also be interested in. You don't have to come to this site, it's not obligatory.
Oh I can't wait for all the vids to pop up showing people on trains jerking away in a furtive manner and then it turns out that SURPRISE! They are actually interfering with themselves as they missed out on preordering one of these - 'Don't just play with yourself, put that energy to better use and preorder a Playdate now!'
Sega Megadrive is not succeeded by the 32X or Saturn = Dreamcast is a worldwide success and Sega are so financially well off that we are currently reading this article on SegaLife website prior to the launch of the Dreamcast 8 (AKA Dreamcast Infinite). If only....
For godsake have Dominik Diamond fronting it. He was the heart and soul of the show. Also get Dave Perry involved somehow, maybe make him the new 'Gamesmaster', a bitter, twisted tattooed manifestation of gaming's darker side.
@Jawessome thanks for that, I'm considering buying another system, I've looked - briefly - at JXD Singularity (looks to be too many long-term issues, I do love the form factor though) but will try to pick up a XD+.
@Jawessome Cheers 😁 btw, you mentioned the GPD XD+, I had the GPD XD, is the plus model a worthwhile upgrade? I know it's meant to fix the hinge-flaw, but apart from that does it warrant it?
@Jawessome I picked up an RG350M for cheap - going to install Simple Menu today. SNES emulation is perfect, even SuperFX games. The metal housing feels great.
@Iandizion I wouldn't worry. Nobody reading any article about piracy...I mean emulation, on this site ever pirated a video game. Nobody was ever directly influenced to hack a Switch due to articles on this very site. And none of the writers of this site would ever do anything like that either. Honest.
It's in no way shape or form an 'acquired taste'. HARD to acquire, and not cheap back in the day, but when you are talking about arcade-perfect ports of R-Type and Parodius (to name just two) everybody wanted one. Bizarre title.
@20thCenturyFrox make no mistake, Diamond LOVED every minute he was on that show. If you see his final farewell speech you can see he's barely holding it together.
@Rodan2000 yup can't beat the feeling of waiting while the 'new' arcade cabinet - Mortal Kombat 2 or Killer Instinct - was being plugged in and everybody lined up to play it, smoking while waiting. Or buying Donkey Kong Country the evening before it was officially released just because the guys at the local games shop were chill and didn't care. I wave the Switch sometimes at the missus and marvel at how far we've come, and how much can fit in these tiny cartridges now. Those were the days, halcyon days...
Blimey! I spend enough money on current gen games as it is. If I buy one of these I might as well declare insolvency right now! Fantastic concept though, I hope it does well.

Re: Feature: Intellivision's Tommy Tallarico Wants To Follow In Nintendo's Footsteps, But Will He Get His Chance?
Yes he will get his chance. No he will not succeed.
Re: Hands On: Retro Handheld Face-Off - Anbernic R351 Vs Retroid Pocket 2
I have the RG350M, love it. It fills in what my Vita, Switch, New 3DS, GPD XD+, GPD Micro, and GPD Win Max may miss. Which isn't much, tbh.

@Jakiboy yes I know what hyperbole is. You are very intelligent.
Re: Channel 4 Is Resurrecting GamesMaster, The UK's Most Popular Video Game TV Show
@Jakiboy ten people. In that case Nintendolife only has 3 people who visit the site, using your grasp of numbers.

I would love the original Starfox remastered on the Switch.
Re: Gallery: Finally, Metal Slug Has The Official Book It Deserves
I hope the cover is not just hardback, because ideally I'd like one with a Full Metal Jacket.
Re: Introducing The Playdate, Panic's New Handheld Video Game System With A Crank
@nmanifold yes, they are still a thing. Just like Fiat Multiplas, they will always be with us.
Re: Introducing The Playdate, Panic's New Handheld Video Game System With A Crank
@Ooyah that was my first thought too, would have really been a novel (and very good) item then.
