Kudos to the dev for following up on feedback! This reminds me of the faux analog sticks I used to have for my now very ancient iPad. Suction cup and plastic base.
My vote for best iPhone controller is the GameSir X2s. Just a really solid game pad.
We used to play Battle City all the time in the late 80s on a 76-in-1 famicom cartridge with the NES adaptor. It had the replayability factor, like Clu Clu Land and other maze games of the time. Good memories.
@iacobus_magnus Probably Tengen Tetris, with the dancers in the intermissions? I found their version to be really chintzy with the 4x1 piece so I stopped playing it, lol.
Hundreds of hours put into the Game Boy and Nintendo-produced version for the NES, though.
@KitsuneNight That’s both impressive and kind of makes me squeamish, lol. So many hours spent with the scanner! I admit, I’m lazy and just look for online copies of publications. But I’m not protecting a physical collection like you are. More power to you!
Gawd, this article hits all the sweet spots for me. I remember spending more money on video game magazines than games, for fear of spending $80 CDN on a dud game. Check out retromags.com for your nostalgia fix, it’s a real treasure trove.
Microsoft needs to release a handheld Game Pass system. I love my Steam Deck, but I want NHL and other console exclusives on a handheld. Easy money for Microsoft.

@bring_on_branstons That’s great, I’ll definitely check it out. Scanning and archiving all these issues must be a real labour of love.

@anubisvel Thanks for that! 🙏
Re: GameBook Color: The Unofficial CGB Companion Is Out Now
@anubisvel I’m wondering too. Here in Canada it’s always been GBC. Maybe a Euro thing?

Re: Hardware Review: Analogue Pocket - Potent FPGA Power In Portable Form
@Chris77 He'll love it. If he finds the d-pad a little loose, there's an easy mod to fix it. Otherwise, it's a great pad. My kid loves his too.
Re: Hardware Review: Analogue Pocket - Potent FPGA Power In Portable Form
I went with an Android phone and a Kishi instead of this. No regrets - okay maybe a few. What a screen!
