No, just no. I swear far too many have bought into machine learning (I refuse to refer to this as ai), without learning how to properly use it as a tool. It's not nor will it ever be a replacement for artists and kindly stop trying to do just that.
The nes version was one of the first games I remember playing. My dad, older brother and I would take turns playing through the levels. I don't recall beating it until the All-Stars version on the SNES.
I was born in 1985, my earliest memory is of Super Mario Bros. on the nes. Though the one I remember the most is Super Mario Bros 3. I replayed that one more times than any other game including Resident Evil 4 & Chrono Trigger. I still remember when the original TMNT and Simpsons arcade cabintes were around.
The dreamcast was one of my favorite consoles with a small library that had some genuine classics. I replayed the Sonic Adventure games repeatedly along with Skies of Arcadia. Powerstone was one of the best fighting games I've played.
That is a worryingly high number, especially with the question of how to best preserve modern games. Multiplayer focused and mobile games have their own set of hurdles, especially for anyone looking to eventually emulate them. As convenient as digital copies are, I still prefer physical when feasible.
I remember this game rather fondly. I used to own a physical copy before having to sell it off. The only issues I had were with the infinitely re-spawning enemies and how the weapons handled. There was little difference in damage between the smart gun and the pulse rifle. The flamethrower while fun to play with wasn't all that useful. The final boss though was a proper challenge. You really had to learn how it moved and attacked or else you'd lose your squad at the end.
@JackGYarwood That is a possibility. I mean as fun as the training grounds can be, the prize doesn't get much use at that point in the game. Don't get me wrong, the ice arrows are fun to play around with but unnecessary outside of a 100% run.

Re: Game Informer Staff Tweet "Genuine Goodbye" Before Account Gets Deleted By GameStop
The fact that decades of coverage is gone is disheartening to say the least.
Re: Fanmade Sonic 3 Remaster 'Angel Island Revisited' Now Playable On PlayStation Vita
It's definitely my preferred way to play Sonic 3 & K though it feels like more trouble than it's worth to get it up and running elsewhere.
Re: Monkey Island Voice Actress Explains Her Sea Of Thieves Absence
Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is so difficult about properly paying the actors a fair wage?
Re: Give Your Dreamcast VMU A Splash Of Colour With These Replacement Shells
If I still had my dreamcast, I'd be tempted to get these. Especially the blockbuster one.

Well this'll be quite helpful.
Re: Best Gundam Games Of All Time
I'm rather happy battle alliance made the list as it's one of the best gundam games I've gotten to play. A shame cross rays didn't make the list.
Re: This New ROM Hack Fixes Many Of Sonic Advance 2's Rough Edges
Oh this is most welcome considering how often the player would get punished for speeding through the stages or exploring.

Re: Anniversary: Valkyria Chronicles Is 15 Today, And Remains The Apex Of Sega's Series
One of my absolute favorite strategy games. Always worth coming back to, a damn shame there wasn't a physical release on the switch.

Re: Random: Fan Discovers Hidden Function For Ocarina Of Time's "Useless" Ice Arrows
This would've been rather helpful years ago. However it really doesn't sound like it'd be worth the trouble of getting the ice arrows first.
