@gcunit "Meanwhile, everytime it gets emulated it's losing a fraction of its future worth. Emulation encourages the perception that Nintendo shouldn't be charging for retro games on NSO, for example."
Can you provide proof besides speculation? I emulate and have NSO. I pay if Nintendo provides, and get it for free if they don't.
"Also, the fact that original copies of out-of-print games increase in value adds to the prestige of the developer, which again supports the value of its current, future and retro software offerings"
What? Several of these developers don't even exist anymore. To associate lack of emulation with future value is an outrageous claim, which is backed by "I said so".
The average consumer has no clue as to who developed what and to think that because a developer created a game 20 years ago by a completely different set of people adds to the value seems like reaching.
And the cheater gets away with it. This case was always going to be settled because a lot of judges are absurdly ignorant when it comes technology. The man is not only an insufferable arrogant, but also a known cheater with more than enough proof for everyone that has an eye. Twin galaxies lost a lot with this settlement.
By now I thought it was quite clear to everyone that Naka is not the kindest person of industry. Unfortunately this story looks very much like it's true.

Re: A Tribute To Matthew Perry, Actor, Playwright And Video Gamer
That one hurt a lot. He was my favorite character on Friends and New Vegas is one of my favorite games of all time.
Gone but definitely not forgotten.
Re: Batman Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Has Passed Away
This is so sad. When I think of Batman Kevin Conroy's voice is the first thing to pop into my mind.
Great voice actor that will be sorely missed.
