Re: Feature: The Story Of The Game Genie, The Cheat Device Nintendo Tried (And Failed) To Kill

|sf>I used to create codes on the internet for the Gameboy and Game Gear genie devices. Many codes did small things like altering the music, but once in a while I would bump into something special (like skipping levels). There weren't many people online who created codes (especially when it came to Game Boy & Game Gear), so it seemed like a challenge.

In modern times, such a massive number of games are being released on the systems like Switch that it's hard to keep track of all the games themselves.

Re: Atari's New Console Seems To Be Part NES Classic Mini, Part Ouya

|sf>There's very little solid information to comment about, so I feel that this is similar to our year-long "NX" conjecturing sessions. Still, the 360 lost its Game Room a while ago (which included Atari Arcade titles like Food Fight, Atari 2600 titles, and Activison) and there were still titles I would have bought at $3 each. If this plans to move into that direction (i.e. trophy systems attached to older console/arcade games, online leaderboards, score goals to meet, video replay for the top ten scores of each game), I think there's enough space in the video game market for a limited slice. Not everything in the video game market has to compete with Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo for graphics. However, until there is solid information with this system, this announcement simply teases one's imagination.
