I've heard that they're not giving out refunds to people who ordered the Amico through their site. Seems like for once preordering from Gamestop is the safer option.
@Meteoroid
First paragraph handwaves the criticisms that others may have with the Amico by linking to an in interview where Tallarico is trying to sell the darn thing.
Next four paragraphs contain almost zero criticisms of the Amico mostly oogling at the technology behind it other than saying that the games launching months before the actual console "rather odd" and spins the lack of flexibility as for collectors.
Last short paragraph states that some people/governments have criticisms have complaints about NFTs (not a criticism of the Amico)
Oh and there's a short little blurb about the Amico having "trouble" getting to the market.
Did you read the Kotaku equivalent article by chance, I don't know how 50% of this article could be considered "criticism"?
@BloodNinja
Tommy is well known for giving Youtubers rides in his Ferrari along with free Intellivision branded T Shirts and baseball caps as long as he likes their "honest" opinions. So they wouldn't be the first!
@Fugazi8 That would be really hard to believe when has NL shilled for Tommy before- Oh right that interview linked in this very article where they don't challenge him at all , when he deserved it the most after threatening to sue a journalist over reporting on by then months old public information.
Tommy "I'm still angry that Miyamoto fired me on Metroid Prime, so I'm going to call the Switch a (actual word) "child r*** console"" Tallarico
Also for actual Nintendo related news from the Intellivision Amico, Tommy's Moon Patrol game that should've released a year ago with the console is still using placeholder text from Star Fox as of last week.
Price is pretty good especially compared to its competitors. The standard Arcade1up costs around $400 and has far less games. The Atgames Legends has more features, games and is slightly more expensive than this, but the game selection that it comes with isn't filled with as many heavy hitters and IIRcade is $600+ and that only comes with 10 games.
Pretty sure every one of these arcade replica companies want to sign up with Nintendo, Arcade1up for April Fool's Day showed blueprints for what looked to be a replica of a Nintendo Playchoice machine (without any explicit mentions of Nintendo of course).
@construx Both the Mega Cat collections and the Xenocrisis+Tanglewood collections are both entirely made up of homebrew games that have been made during this century.
Though all the games were programmed for consoles made in the 20th century.
@Yogsoggoth Being bigger is not a positive thing for a handheld. The smaller size compared to the Switch makes it even more portable, a good thing.
Honestly every handheld review should have a size comparison with other rivals on the market.
Also for someone that talks about those "insecure fanboys", you sure do mention how much your preferred console with its "big boy games" is better than the Switch.
So what's been announced in terms of games for this? Just old Atari games right? And I can easily get 150 of those games for Switch for just $40. What's the point in paying $250 for this?
Sonic is the opposite of edgy. He is a cartoon hedgehog who was based off Mickey Mouse, that is slightly impatient. The only reason he ever seemed edgy was how he was advertised.
@Jop This is the same Atari who created the Alone in the Dark reboot, Roller Coaster Tycoon World, Roller Coaster Tycoon IV Mobile, and the Haunted House reboot. Stop pretending it’s a different company.

@Turbo857
"You know, it’s been challenging. The cost parts have escalated, or whatever, and everybody keeps saying I'm going to wait for the product to go down in price. Well, I’m telling you it’s not going in that direction. It will go up before it goes down, because essentially there isn’t much profit into what we’re shipping day one"

Remember guyz, it doesn't matter that it was a scam all that matters are the friends, who helped perpetrate the scam, that we made along the way!

They're all on AtariAge where anyone who isn't for Tommy has been rooted out one by one by their moderators.

Has he started sh**talking everyone in this comment section on Atari Age or twitter yet?

Really would've preferred automatic high score saving over save states. Or both would've been great!
Re: Hardware Review: Game Gear Micro - Go Home Sega, You're Drunk
Weird that they got M2 to work on this, but not the Astro City Mini.
