As a fan of the Power Stone franchise, I find it sad that the 3DS was supposed to have a Power Stone-alike but never got it.

I always found Link's Awakening to be appealing due in part to the crossovers from Mario and Kirby but I never knew of this crossover until now. Learned something new today.

LRG faithfully abides by the old adage about a sucker born every minute.

I buy physical for games I feel I'll value long after I've finished them, but if LRG and its ilk are what I have to look forward to for physical copies in the future, then that may be what pushes me to go completely digital.

This persists to this day. A Unicorn Overlord character recruitment guide from Game Rant mentions a warning not to kill a certain character when you actually still need to defeat said character's unit and the narrative will just say the character just fell unconscious anyway.

Definitely amazing effort and novel too, but not novel enough to pull out while on a bus or train. The N64 gamepad definitely wasn't designed with "portable handheld" use in mind.

This reminds me of Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat for the NES, one of the best four-player games on the system in my book.

This sort of reminds me of Live a Live's HD-2D. Wasn't a fan of its look. Same with this one.

Never got to own an SNES growing up, with the NES being the last non-handheld Nintendo console I owned until my Switch decades later. Instead, I got to play FF VI on my potato PC back then via emulation, but that didn't make it any less magnificent to play. Still the best FF game in my book, hands down.
