Not to me.

I don't see a reason for a(nother) hardware for emulation (which is, by definition, far from the original game experience).

Why would anybody buy a handheld like this for that amount of money in 2020, is beyond me.

Wow, I haven't heard this name in decades!

I remember how fun it was playing it in the 90s.

I'm not gonna pay for a console to play it now, though.
(There's a very good chess game on Switch, too.)

It might be worth buying one, considering how big of a bust it'll be.
5 years from now, nobody will know what it was but there may be collectors around the world who'll pay a lot for these then hard-to-find devices.

I've been waiting for an HD Megadrive for ages.
Software emulation has been there for decades but that's a hard pass for me who played those games on the original hardware and just can't tolerate the many imperfections of software emulation.

Software emulation sucks.
PCs have been able to do that for decades.

That's great, now bring them all to Switch!
