@HexagonSun same- I've gone with FPGA consoles and haven't looked back; it's just a much more convenient and accurate experience over software emulation. I love original hardware and I'll always keep my original consoles, but the advantages of analogue and similar devices are just too nice to pass up.
@RetroGames People should be aware of where their money is going and what it's supporting.
Your defense of the US Military Industrial Complex is really weird man. People generally want to ensure they aren't spending money that could cause destruction; that's not "politics".
@-wc- np buddy, I wish it was mentioned in this article, but happy to help.
@slider1983 if nothing else the fact that he manufactures weapons should be an immediate non-starter, and a reason that journalists should not cover his gameboy side project.
Disappointed to see a review of this being that it's made by Palmer Luckey. Friends, don't support him and just buy an Analogue Pocket instead- it's also a better device.
@Poodlestargenerica software emulation is cool, but honestly once you use FPGA hardware-level emulation you won't want to go back; it's just so much more accurate.
@slider1983 yikes lol. There is a massive difference between "dabbling with foreign countries" and "being directly owned by a human rights violating murderous oppressive regime"
I'm a big proponent of FOSS and the dev here brings up a very good point that too often people do not respect the terms of the GNUGPL. Look at the Retron 5 and other similar devices; the people that work on FOSS deserve to be credited for their time and effort.

I completely forgot this was a thing. It's a shame it never came out.

@RetroGames yikes lol, I can't believe you actually wrote this.
"started another hugely successful business" is an absolutely WILD way to describe a weapons company. That's really gross dude.

Not for nothing, but why is anyone giving them money?
Re: Hotel Mario, One Of Mario's "Worst Games", Is Getting A Fan-Made Upgrade
Honestly, Hotel Mario is probably the best game on the CDI; at least out of the ones I own it is.

@slider1983 https://www.pcgamer.com/saudi-arabia-now-owns-96-of-snk/
The repressive regime in charge of Saudi Arabia owns SNK and directly benefits from anyone that purchases their games as a result.
Re: SNK "Very Aware" We All Want A New Capcom Vs. SNK Game, But "The Hurdle Is Quite High"
Stick with Capcom vs SNK 2- don't purchase modern SNK games and give the Saudi Royal Family any money.

Re: Sega's Next Micro-Console Could Be The Dreamcast Mini, But Don't Expect It Soon
We've seen Dreamcast games ported time and time again, give us Saturn games.
