My console gaming peaked with the PS1, but i ended up buying a PS2 eventually after a small lottery win. I only used it for the DVD player, but i definitely got my monies worth out of it from that alone!
SF2 was my entire life as a preteen in the early 90s. However, there is no way i can/will ever watch this if i need to purchase it on Blu-ray. I haven't had a physical media player since the PS2!
Surely releasing it as a digital download is less effort than releasing it on Blu-ray?
Hi Paul, I signed up to this site just to make this comment. CVG was such a big part of my life between hmm, 96-99, and i would like to thank you and all the crew that worked on it! It was my bible, i read each edition cover to cover multiple times. It was unique in gaming mags, the layout was so vibrant and well laid out and infinitely re-readable. It also grabbed me (and stuck with me), because it felt like i knew you all because of the pictures and bios at the start of each mag! Even now, over 20 years later, i'm getting flashbacks of Ed and his gaming prowess, love of Pink Floyd and Bladerunner (and sweets), your "spirit of the mad gamer", the ace venture lookalike, Tom Guise, Steve Keys and his love of Football (Everton i think?)... gee what a flaskback!
