@kingbk More like 40s-50s. Was my first console & I'm in my early 40s.
But yeah, those days aren't coming back any time soon. I think they misread the retro-gaming fanbase as a lane to jump in or something. It would have been less damaging to have invested in enhanced ports of their older games for digital release than a whole new console.
I've said it before. I'd have bought an HD Atlantis from the eshop if it had an online leaderboard.
@Fearful-Octopus Probably SNES for starters. Think it's still the single biggest library I own & many of them I never re-bought on the Virtual Console. Then again I could get around to finishing Tales of Destiny if I get the PS1 module.

Re: Intellivision Admits Its Wii-Like Amico Console May Never See Release
All they had to do was make an updated remake of Atlantis for the eshop. Give me an online leaderboard & I might have grabbed it for old time's sake.

@Fearful-Octopus That price works for me. Heck, I was expecting $80+ so I'd be pleased if they can keep it even lower.
Re: Hands On: Exploring The Future Of Retro Gaming With Polymega
@AirElephant Yeah, I'm hoping each module isn't breaking the bank so I can buy one or two at the start then add more over time.
Re: Modular Console RetroBlox Could Be The Ultimate Old-School Gaming Platform
Hmm looks interesting. Curious to see how well that "Hybrid Emulation" thing works.
