Well, I guess it's a good sign they haven't opened up preorders for this right away; otherwise, I would question their motives in announcing this: meaning do they need more preorder money to fulfill all original orders?
If it's "Nintendo-like" why not just get a Nintendo then? I guess Nintendolife felt the need to pump up another retro console now that the Polymega is most definitely not coming out.
They should refund everyone, if the consumer wishes, and allow them an option to put down a $100 deposit, like for the Intellivision Amico. If and when the Polymega ships then Playmaji can ask for the full amount.
I want one. The problem is I own most of the mini consoles already and have played them to death. It would be nice to upgrade, but unless I can say hook up my turbografx 16 mini and transfer the roms I already own, it's a deal breaker for me.
Oh, that and I noticed Micro Mages wasn't in the data base.
I see no value in this. I would have been interested if this was a pixel art/indie box, but the mobile feel of a lot of these titles doesn't do it for me. The low cost doesn't help either as the budgetness just means none of these games are "must buy." Would rather have more expensive titles if that meant I was getting higher quality games.
Overall it's much better just to save your money for something more worthwhile.
The console itself is really not necessary. With the $250 US buy-in Amico is going to face reluctance with consumers. There's a kickstarter going right now that let's one stream their mobile games from their phone. Why not do something like that?

Re: Polymega's Latest Update Adds Game Boy And Virtual Boy Screen Filters
If they do an Atari, Colecovision etc module, they should so release a Vectrex filter.

Re: Exclusive: Polymega's Next Module Brings Nintendo 64 Support
@nessisonett The other modules don't support everdrives. So I don't see why this would be any different.
Re: Polymega Units Are Finally Arriving In The Hands Of Customers
I can't see this being popular with retro gamers as whenever the Polymega is mentioned on social media, it is downvoted to oblivion.

Re: Polymega Release "Still On Track" Despite Production Problems
Hopefully enough people ask for refunds to penalize this bad behavior. Payment should be when shipped. Especially this product.
Re: Hardware Review: Despite The Delays And Drama, Polymega Is The Ultimate All-In-One Retro Machine
The Polymega has me more interested in retro gaming. Gotta thank Playmaji for that, but I'll be buying from Analogue.

Re: Polymega's Launch Is Delayed Until Early Next Year
Why would Walmart need to communicate the status of the project to Playmaji?--it's Playmaji's project.

@Woomy_NNYes @FX102A They curate the comments. There's a bit of a cult surrounding the Amico.
