I've been playing videogames since 1976 (Taito's 'Gun Fight' at the world's oldest fun fair, Dyrehavsbakken).
Didn't really get the "bug" before 1981.
Bought a ZX Spectrum in august 1983 and more or less forgot about arcade games.
Became a "true" gamer in 1999 when I first played Resident Evil 2.
