For Mega Drive at least Sega tended to only have high prices for their big titles like Eternal Champions and Streets of Rage 3 going for £50. Power Strike 2 is quite a difficult game to get hold of so I'm not surprised you had trouble finding a copy. Also, The Ninja was never released on card. It was always just a cartridge. It was an earlier title so might explain why it was cheap. I really never expected SMS games to be priced above £39.99.

@Gamecuber Yeah, NES carts are more difficult to find.

@Gamecuber To be fair it's harder to spot them because everyone threw their boxes away so you mainly find carts. Mega Drive games could get pricey from £39.99 to £49.99 but SNES and NES games were general very expensive...for some reason.

@h3s Games for SMS were on average £29.99. It was easier to find SMS games than NES games in the UK.

Well don't expect it to get tons of updates for compatibility, this is Analogue after all.

Sega's continued big mistake is not making the Sega Ages line available for PC and other platforms.

The tether system is what gave the game its identity. This mod kind of makes the game pointless.

I still shudder when I remember the escort mission from Max Payne II. It stopped the game being as fun as the original.

I really had hoped Sega would stay in the console business. It seems like a lot of these people at Sega didn't really know how to utilise their success.

@Electryc03 Yeah there's that and some people are against the exploitation of nostalgia. If it can be done I think it's great for the company. It makes Commodore more famous and brings it back from obscurity. The detractors would rather it remains obscure so it's easier to gatekeep.

@Electryc03 A lot of the hate comes from people who don't like revenue making YouTubers or influencers and the CEO of Commodore is YouTuber Retro Recipes so people have a problem with that.

It's all for the best if it rolls into one.

I honestly never considered the Terminator 2 game on Amiga that bad. The Master System game is fine as well. My problem with this new version is that it tries to combine nostalgia with a complete adaptation so much it feels very limited. It could have been much more interesting which is why I appreciate the 90's licenced T2 games more.
