I was under the impression this was a combined Mega Drive, 32X and Mega CD. Did Sega ever plan anything like that?

@HammerGalladeBro It seems as though Sega is planning something with them. Someone elsewhere mentioned a subscription service but I don't see how this is possible since Sega don't have enough already ported games ala Sonic Origins to make a subscription service. 🤔

@sdelfin The ones you own will show up. I'm not sure when they plan to delist them though. It may not be now but soon.

Off topic but Sega in their infinite wisdom have de-listed all MD games from Steam including PSIV. They probably want to pull a Sonic Origins and release a rubbish compilation again. 😆

This might explain why it took two years for the game to get a release in non-Japanese regions. It's very odd Sega would not publish the game immediately considering they put out the second and third game for MD.

For all this talk however that RPGs weren't really a thing on MD around the mid-90's we saw a good number of RPGs being released for Mega Drive and Saturn. I don't believe that PSIV wasn't released because a lack of RPG popularity.

@-wc- When it comes to RPGs I seem to get on better with tactical strategy games like Shining Force. Final Fantasy style games, Baldur's Gate games or dungeon crawlers I don't get on with. I don't hate them but I can't play them without cheating because I find them too difficult.

@-wc- I imported the American Sega CD releases some years back but apart from trying them to make sure they work on my PAL console I never played through. I should get around to playing them. I just don't get on well with non-tactical strategy RPGs. Find them too difficult. 😂

@-wc- I'm guessing they decided to make a new English dub but this means people who want the original won't get it. If it's on Steam I'm sure modders will just add the original dub back in.

@X68000 That's to be expected. Their ignorance means they think because MD can't do orchestral music it's got terrible sound. People try to pin the same blame on the Master System and say that sound is terrible. It always depended on the composer.

I always decided since I'm anti-Nintendo that I probably wouldn't be a good fit for NL. 😂

@X68000 I was referring to the fact they're combining a camera with the terrible sound of AtGames MD devices. I never had a problem with MD sound.
