@Unbolted There's a lot of great uses for AI as long as it doesn't steal. My issue is the knee jerk reaction and doom mongering about it in the form of attack articles.

I show how clever AI is in remastering old shows if handled correctly and people go crazy because it's AI. It's not only moronic, it's not helpful in finding a better solution. 🙄

Great article. It's amazing from Metal Slug they made so many sequels and they all played the same. It's one of the few video game IPs to have a consistent look through its many sequels.

@-wc- It coincided with the decline, not solely because of the lack of women on covers. The magazines in general started to become boring.

@-wc- I remember PC Format used to have a female on their cover until around 2005. I think it's after we saw the decline of the magazine until it was cancelled.

@Sketcz The cat is out of the bag. Casual gamers will most likely fall for this and think it's real. But then...they probably think there was a gaming crash in 1983 worldwide. Again this is to promote nostalgia and the link which Damien deleted is a comparison of what gaming magazines would be like now compared to back then in extremes.

Not all of us. I find is very overrated. Colonial Marines gets lots of flak but that's more because of the AI. The game is pretty enjoyable anyway.

It's great they're covering these games but I also think it's important to cover the more obscure games released for the Amiga.

Sega really need to concentrate on their Master System game IPs like Asterix and Master of Darkness.
