@metaphysician Ah well that's different. I completely agree Sega should focus on remastering games from a variety of systems. Having said that, it was a big mistake keeping the Sega AGES line just to Switch. When I look at the PS2 and Switch stuff it's sad it wasn't made available in other places like PC.

Why not do a collection of the Dragon Slayer games? People would buy it and they remaster the Legend of Heroes games.

@gojiguy Developers tend to ignore criticism and go full steam ahead instead.

The problem with these tactical RPGs is they tend to replicate the gameplay and graphic presentation of FF Tactics and Fire Emblem rather than Shining Force. This game doesn't seem to buck that trend unfortunately. 🤔

@KingMike Well it would still be nice if he paid attention to stuff outside of his comfort zone. Gaming isn't just the US.

@PopetheRev28 From the gameplay the kicks just don't seem to land for some reason. It's incredibly important with this type of game to get the hit collision satisfying.

@Robocod Ah okay. U.S. Gold did do some good arcade conversions but yeah it was very hit or miss. Their port of Final Fight for Amiga while not perfect I actually find quite underrated.

It still pains me that the negatives for Ground Zero Texas didn't survive. 😪

@Sketcz Why does Cifaldi dislike TE? I find VGHF overrated so not sure he should be propping himself up as a god. He has no respect for anything outside of the USA. He thinks lesser of European gaming if the above quote calling TE a British tabloid is anything to go by. Maybe our god should be putting his money where his mouth is and helping save Myrient?
