Seems like a cool little niche gadget. I dig the risk-taking, innovation and uniqueness of it. Needs to be cheaper and screen needs to be backlit (and preferably in colour) though.
One of my older cousins was a wizard with Game Genie & Game Shark codes back in the day. Man used to somehow create his own codes and break games in unimaginable ways and keep a handwritten notebook of everything lol so wild. Good times.
Really hope Nintendo keeps both the Star Fox and F-Zero series going eventually and expands upon them. Even remastering/repurposing Star Fox Zero for Switch with new controls for now and maybe a new 2D F-Zero sequel could suffice in the meantime in lieu of something wholly grand & new.
I think exploring these franchises in new ways would be refreshing. I'm probably in the minority of people who actually really enjoyed Star Fox Adventures and could see something similar being done with Captain Falcon & F-Zero as a way to really flesh out or add to that property's, characters, world & lore.
Meanwhile Star Fox could do something different like go the route of that rumoured aerial vehicular space racing game- I'm thinking something akin to Diddy Kong Racing with a bigger focus on weapons & battle, which has also been underrated and neglected imo. Just some thoughts (and hopes)!
