I still can't even get Neo Geo or Turbo Grafx CD games to load on my Pocket. I have never found a video that is straight forward enough for me to follow.
I honestly just want it in the standard N64 gray color. I also wish they would do another run of the NT mini or whatever the NES console was called...but not in aluminum.
I wonder if a DOS emulator would be worth it. I'd love to play some of the old Text Adventures from way back in my childhood somehow again. I've tried DOSBox but I can't seem to get any games to install properly on an M3 MacBook Pro.
I still have my Jaguar that I purchased on release day. It still looks almost brand new, it still sucks as a game system, and I still love to play it regardless.
We must enjoy these games on the Switch while we can because we know some day the service will be shut down or the rights agreements for many of these games won't include whatever comes after the Switch and they'll be gone again.
I thought the reason for making North American versions harder was because of the rental industry. Harder games mean maybe you couldn't finish it so you had to keep paying more to play. The North American value proposition was more about monetary value than entertainment value.
I just hope it doesn't require an engineering degree to actually play games on the PSX core like it does for the Neo Geo core. I still can't manage to figure out how to get anything running on that one.
Wii U Gamepad is hands down the most ergonomically pleasing controller I have ever used. Almost every other controller on this list is a hand/wrist cramping nightmare for me.
What generation of consoles exceeds the limits of what the FPGAs in the Pocket can handle? Is it even possible for Jaguar/N64/PS1/Saturn games or even Dreamcast/Gamecube games to eventually run on the Pocket?
I would have Bloodrayne and Advent Rising on my list. Bloodrayne was a heck of a lot of fun and despite the frame rate issues, Advent Rising was my favorite right next to Ninja Gaiden.

Re: Review: Analogue Duo - The Best Way To Enjoy The Entire PC Engine / TG16 Library
Definitely going to need someone to give the steps on how to put Turbo CD ROM games onto CD-R disks.

Too bad it doesn't support Mac.
Re: "Forgotten" Zelda Adventure Gets Ported To Game Boy
I wonder if this will run on the Analogue Pocket.

Re: Soon You'll Be Able To Play This Castlevania Classic On Your Analogue Pocket
@Razieluigi You said it perfectly. I'm in the same boat with my Wii U as well.

Re: All Analogue Pocket OpenFPGA Cores And Where To Download Them
I've managed to get every core to run nearly flawlessly except the Neo Geo. For some reason, I can't get anything on that one to work at all.
Re: Watch Castlevania: SotN Speedrunner Slay The Game's Bosses In Half An Hour
Duel wielding the crissaegrim lets you slay any boss in the game in a matter of seconds.

...but will it be able to run on the Analogue Pocket?
Re: The Worst SNES Games Of All Time
Ultraman is another gawd awful SNES game.
Re: Could Analogue Pocket's Cartridge Slot Be The Key To Unlocking Its True Potential?
NEO GEO and MAME cores are the only other ones I feel like I'm excited for.

Re: Time Magazine Thinks The Analogue Pocket Is One Of 2022's Best Inventions
It is a great device...but I got mine in 2021.
Re: TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine Support Is Next For Analogue Pocket
Will this core require the actual Hu-Card to play the games? I only have two TG16 cards and the others I want are VERY pricey now.
Re: Taito Asking Fans To Request Games They'd Like To See On Egret II Mini
Rastan was my favorite Taito game back in the arcade days. Killer music and a very cool vibe to the whole game.
Re: Analogue Pocket Now Plays NES Games, Too
Emulation, I presume?
Re: Anniversary: The Legend Of Zelda Released On NES 35 Years Ago In North America
I've never actually finished this game. I came close back in 1988, but I just couldn't get the job done back then.
Re: Feature: The Haunting History Of Capcom's Ghosts 'n Goblins Series
I just hope Resurrection will be given a physical release.
Re: Atari's Attempt To Relaunch The VCS Has Just Hit Another Brick Wall
Nintendo should buy the Atari brand.
Re: Atari Comes Under Fire For Seemingly Knowing Very Little About Its Crowdfunded VCS Console
I’ve gone back and forth in my mind whether or not I should join the funding campaign, but this pretty solidly helped me decide to hold off.
