I wil be preordering but that's because i am already in the Evercade ecosystem.
Thankfully the games are readily available and not very expensive

For me this is a kind of a no brainer.
Ive been eying that Neo Geo tabletop for a while.
And this is the next best thing.

Also hoping Blaze can rope SNK in.

It could happen.
All you need to be under way is if somebody has and offers a chunk of CTW for sale in a joblot.

I tried to reach out to Stuart Campbell to ask him with that very same idea.
Unfortunately he seems to have scrubbed himself from the internet.

His contact page and forum page both return 404 errors.
And he hasn't been active on his twitter in 4 years.

Evilbay works in mysterious ways.

Got to be honest though, unless people who have stacks of the magazine start coming forward or listing them on Ebay, collecting let alone completing, CTW is going to be a near impossible proposition.

It also doesn't help that there is almost no information about CTW out there.

Here is hoping that won't be the case.
But this could take years if not decades.

I mostly struggle with the fiddly grid based controls.
They usually get me to give up in frustration.
And the modern controls for the remaster are ....special in a bad way.

Could never get my copy of Smash Pack to run on any of my Dreamcasts.
I had to resort to an ahem self booting back up.

Like convince Capcom to continue supporting the Evercade beyond the XP handheld.

And while I am no fan of ps1 Tomb Raider ( fiddley controls ) if its successful it could pave the way for more 32 bit games and big names.

I think i like the idea of it much more than the actual machine it self.
Or at least playing on it.

Well that's good news, and makes one hopefully for the longevity of the Evercade.
And makes retro seem more viable to other gamers and companies.

I have a harder time switching between Nintendo and Xbox controllers, because the function of the buttons are reversed.
I've been playing ASM on the Wii U recently and my muscle memory used to the Xbox layout keeps tripping me up.

Tonka is such a well known brand that Hasbro would have to be totally divorced from anything remotely connected to reality to scupper the brand.

Even with the name of the Gobots IP there is scrutiny.
The original toyline was named GoBots.
The Hasbrow owned version is named Go-Bots.
The hyphen is important.

Aren't these legal shenanigans "fun" ?

It's possible that Hasbro needs to license designs from Bandai, though the designs we know are from the Gobots cartoon. ( which has an equally twisted ownership legacy. Current owners are WB cause they bought up Hanna-Barbera )

But there is a Go-Bots comic using some cartoon designs, but primarily toy designs which Hasbro presumably signed off on.

And finally Tonka purchased Kenner in 1987, 4 years later both were purchased by Hasbro in 1991.
Kenner got absorbed in to Hasbroby 2000, Tonka, or at least the Tonka brand is still in use.

Its SD beat em up with a characters from Beast Wars Bw II and BW Neo

Gobots vs Transformers is a bit of a issue, while Hasbro owns the Gobots name, they do not own the toy designs or moulds
Machine Robo is still 100% owned by Bandai.

Hasbro and Takara seem unable or unwilling to do much with the IP.
Hasbro got the Gobotsip at the very least because they purchased Tonka in the early 90's

It could be possible,
By running retro active Reviews, features interviews, making off, walkthroughs, cheats.
Investigating cancelled games , looking in to homebrew, interviewing former developers.

The Dreamcast is dead but a magazine could be doable.
