I want one but don't like that the new hand held model is white. It's likely one of those things that I like the idea of on paper but probably wouldn't play much anyway tbh.
Super Mario 64 hands down. Prime is awesome but it came in the second 3D generation and the fps genre already existed. SM64 had to invent what Mario in 3D means.
Cool stuff. Really don't know why devs like this don't just make "spiritual successors" rather than straight up use an existing IP. They can try to monetise it then which given the effort they put in I think they deserve.
Nothing wrong with doing it as a hobby of course and good on them but yeah, I can't wrap my head around putting so much work in given the huge risk of receiving a cease and desist once you go live.
This should be the nail in the company's coffin. It won't be though if all the accusations of collusion and market fixing didn't do it. Or you know, the fact it's a ridiculous premise in the first place...
Have been mildly interested in the Evercade and nearly bought it before. Just not sure I'd play it enough to justify the outlay. Especially with those Chinese emulation devices getting better and better by the month.
I do like the idea of having carts with games on them though. I think it's because I've gone totally digital on consoles. I kind of miss physical media in a way.
I bought one. Honestly no idea why people wrap it so much. It still feels kind of cheap and I don't think the buttons are that great at all. I guess it's a decent machine but it's also not exactly cheap. I expected it to feel a lot better.
Mine came with a sticky shoulder button so I ended up just sending it back.

They're adorable.
Re: Best JRPGs Of All Time
Great list. Definitely classics but I don't think I could play an 8 bit RPG like FFI or Phantasy Star these days.
Would love to see a similar list just for SRPGs.

Re: The Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 Is Finally Announced For Europe
Noice. Didn't play much of the first one tbh but it's very cute. Will probably get this one too as I'm a sucker.
Re: Review: Aya Neo Air - A Steam Deck Rival And Emulation Powerhouse
No idea why you'd drop that kind of money on this rather than waiting to get your hands on a steam deck.

That's a very random list of games.
