Re: Shuhei Yoshida Explains Why The PS Vita Flopped

I'll always give the Vita kudos for being the first handheld with 3D games with the foresight to have dual analogue sticks! As a 3DS sympathizer, the nub on the New 3DS is a poor solution. To think if they simply rid of the rear touchpad and included a TV-out port, this might have stood a better chance...๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I do miss having one, but still occasionally boot my PSTV to enjoy a few of the exclusives.

This was a fun read. I actually have a cartridge for Pokemon Arcoiris which is neat in that it allows you to explore the Orange Islands.

I strongly urge everyone to check out Pokemon Emerald Rogue (I'm pretty surprised it didn't get a spot on this article)! The roguelike spin and town/hub system is really neat. Once you complete the game, you can add in all sorts of modifiers, including newer generations of Pokemon.

Re: Poll: So, What's Your Favourite Controller Of All Time?

GameCube is nostalgic and unique, but not viable for most non-GC titles let alone modern games. 360 comes REALLY close but that dang spongy d-pad ruins it all. I'll have to give the edge to Switch Pro. Perfect amount of bulk without overdoing it, every button feels and responds perfect without being too noisy/clicky.

I too am especially fascinated with Dead Rising CTYD, been playing it recently and many of the decisions it makes are beyond bizarre. Zombified versions of bosses instead of bosses themselves, for example.
Side note- the mobile formatting of this site needs a lot of work. The article is constantly interrupted by links to other articles and ads and makes it seem like the article cuts off early (very clickbaity).
