I really do want one but not sure how much I would play it. I loved my Turbografx 16 back in the day and know I would get use out of no less then 10 of these games. Is it worth that to me though.
The sad thing is it raised 2 million in like 2 to 3 days. Funding has leveled off as Atari has come under fire this past month for many things. Some even think Atari put a million on their own campaign to hype interest.
In a lot of ways i liked this better then Goldeneye. I thought the controls worked better for a fps and i enjoyed the single player a bit more. Also loved the sounds and music i can still hear playing in my head. Now if only they didn't have the fog so close then i may have thought this was better as the total package but Goldeneye for the multiplayer wins the day.
I would say why the Mega Drive but well it's obvious. Also if any system from that era looked like a transformer that one would be it as none of the Nintendo systems even come close!
I loved my Turbo-Grafx 16. I had plenty of good games and have download some of those on the virtual console. Those were wonderful times back then with Nintendo and my Turbo!
One of my all time favorites and I forgot about it. I could pick up and play this game now if it was on the virtual console. It was definitely before its time for this style of rpg. Must play for any rpg fan!!

Most of those look way more basic then most indie games.
Re: Feature: Remember When Atari Turned Down Nintendo And Sega?

I still say Star Fox needs to be more like this. Still me favorite flight game to this day.
Re: Myth Becomes Reality As Atari's E.T. Cartridges Are Unearthed In New Mexico Landfill
Games we should lay beside E.T., Superman 64, Urban Champion, and Shaqfu! That is all.
Re: Myth Becomes Reality As Atari's E.T. Cartridges Are Unearthed In New Mexico Landfill
@ajcismo If only!? They would've had to disturb the burial site to lay them next to the E.T. cartridges. I would've helped them though!

That game is that old and looks that good!! Sign me up for some of that. Looks amazing to me and if it plays as good as it looks could be great fun!
