Has anyone tested these SNES consoles for traces of HGH or other “supplements?” Pretty odd that a 35-year old console would get faster as it ages. I know the Genesis was caught in a big doping scandal at one point. We letting ‘Tendo off the hook here?

Funny, seeing as her sister, Cathy Cauliflower, wanted nothing but armed violence for the game.

@-wc- I only completed the game a few years ago via NSO. It’s actually the only time I ever got close to completing it. I was maybe 32 or 33, and it was a bizarre feeling. Like, “Dude, how and why did it take me this long to complete Mario 64?” I then probably opened a bag of chips and pondered life. Ha.

@MontyCircus There are many thoughtful comments in this thread, and I think you really touched on something with “the internet taught me.” In my younger days, I was pretty vulnerable and definitely “unliked” a lot of things I personally loved because “the internet taught me” it sucks/is lame. Bands, movies, games. Took me longer than I’d care to admit to get over all that and just be true to myself. (At least I think that’s what you sort of meant. If I got it totally wrong, my apologies.)

Let’s see if Ogata is willing to settle this like a grown up…

I’d have to revisit it, but I remember being pretty enthralled by Shinobi (PS2). The movement and attacks felt super fluid, from the bits I recall.
