That game engine for Max Payne and A Sound of Thunder would have made for a great version of The Warriors. It was great when different teams made games based around the hardware instead of making a game and slapping it everywhere.
I remember a few years back Intellivision tried launching a Gen2 line that was fun. But it wasn’t on Nintendo devices so it missed the audience that would of purchased them.
In a way this looks like it is aiming to offer games that are always on those $20-$50 handheld devices you see in stores. As long as they can exceed those build quality’s this should be a fun device.
It is a true classic, I can remember hoping got this to come out and then being shocked when developer went under. It has for the most part always been a part of my collection.
I would of loved to have seen what their GTA Advance would of turned out like considering the game not only jumped publishers(Destination Software Inc to Rockstar) but developers as well(Crawfish to Digital Eclipse),
The team also did a real good version of Space Invaders on the Game Boy Color for Activision.

As someone who doesn’t own a computer….
Re: James Bond Producer Didn't Want Guns In 2010's GoldenEye Wii Reboot
It reminds me of this lady that came into GameStop when I worked there. Super Mario Bros was too violent for the grandkids.
Re: What's Happening With Forever Entertainment's 'Panzer Dragoon II Zwei' Remake?
They used Unity, and that’s where the problems start.

Re: Talking Point: Is There A Home Port You Prefer To The Arcade Original?
Paperboy on the Sega Genesis?
Re: Shuhei Yoshida Explains Why The PS Vita Flopped
It was the memory cards that killed it for me. I had the 64GB card fail on me twice. I did not stick around for a third time.
The only game that is Vita only that I haven’t purchased elsewhere is Lumines.
Re: The Making Of: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2's Surprisingly Stellar GBA Port
This makes me miss this era in gaming when a game would be tailored to a device by teams that understood the hardware.
Now it’s “here’s this game, if it doesn’t work on the Switch it’s not our fault.”
And people realty do blame Nintendo for that.
Re: Sega Has Been "Losing Confidence" But Its New Boss Wants To "Make It Really Shiny Again"
I’ve been losing confidence in Sega over the past 20 years.
Re: EA Founder Denies Giving Sony The Idea For PlayStation
It’s funny, the show on Discovery/HBO Max called Game Changers is more accurate and they had a Madden episode this season.
Re: Random: Did You Know About This Motion Control Dragon Quest Game That Predates The Wii?
In addition to the Star Wars one, there is also a Lord of the Rings one. I purchased one the first week I worked at Toys R Us.
Re: "If Bach Wrote Video Game Music, It Would Be Castlevania"
It is a tough pick. Even the “deleted” I Am The Wind in Symphony is excellent.
On a side note while not Castlevania this one does have Castlevania vibes to it

Re: Flashback: Gizmondo's Lavish Launch Party Had Everything, Except A Successful System
I had a Gizmondo. Point of Destruction and Trailblazer are probably the best games for it.

Re: Evercade Is Getting An "EXP" Upgrade, Complete With Irem And Toaplan Collections
I will be upgrading, I adore my Evercade but I do not have access to a computer to do the updates for it.
The Wi-Fi here will make this a convince.
Re: Intellivision Closes Amico Fundraising Ahead Of Schedule
It’s a shame since Intellivision has been in business since they were sold off from Mattel and for them to end up like this stings.

Re: The Intellivision Amico Has A Unique Approach To Physical Media And Digital Ownership
There’s something here that doesn’t feel right.
I appreciate Tommy’s passion and support from other developers but I can’t shake this feeling.

I am asking for a long “yes” instead of a quick “no.”
Re: Intellivision's Amico Is Shaping Up To Be The Most 'Nintendo' Non-Nintendo System Ever
I’m still on the fence with this, if I did buy it it would be my first home console in quite sometime.
Re: Best Of 2020: The Making Of Star Fox Command
Just a reminder that Star Fox gets chance after chance after f****** chance and F-Zero is long dead.

Re: Feature: The Making Of The PC Engine, The 8-Bit Wonder That Took On Nintendo
@sdelfin if I remember correctly, it was thought that Nintendo and Sega were going to reject Mortal Kombat.

I am ready to replace the My Arcade and Arcade Classics handhelds with this.

Re: Feature: How R-Type Was De-Made For The Game Boy, Before Demakes Were A Thing
A bit weird that Nintendo never released R-Type DX on the Virtual Console.
Re: Hardware Review: Sega's Heritage Deserves Better Than The Mega Drive Ultimate Portable
It would of been nice for Sega/M2 to keep making the 3D Classics series.
Re: Feature: What If The SNES PlayStation Had Actually Happened?
The Playstation had to happen, Nintendo needed a kick in the *** and Sega somehow still would of civil wared itself out of business.
