I can understand 4’s absence due to the complicated hardware but I for the life of me cannot figure out why Gaiden isn’t here, especially when you consider m2engage (the emulator they’ve since been rolling with in recent times) was used for the metal gear solid port this past year.
The only route I could in theory see them take is they update this collection with CS releases, of which Gaiden is a part of

Some people tend to give it the title of “emperor” kusoge
But when you realize that the developer is none other than ecole, the same team behind such titles as Melty blood and Dengeki bunko climax, nothing will make sense to you anymore

There are one of two ways konami can go from here, especially when you consider there aren’t very many castlevanias left to give this treatment:
A.) ReBirth Trilogy (especially when you consider this is the same engine and dev team as Adventure ReBirth)
B.) Dracula X Collection, finally bringing Rondo and Symphony to other modern consoles besides just PS4/5
I would say a ps2 collection is also likely but too easy for them to do in terms of what Konami can/cant do in terms of legal portability

I’m fairly certain once they got things sorted out on the technical side of things, they’ll release a digital version on storefronts. I supported them and bought astebros on steam because it was too good not to give them money after trying it in the first place…that’s the problem with digital market places, most devs don’t offer demos but then the ones that are typically get buried under literal shovelware
