@MontyMole You should check the Retro Game Corps channel on YouTube, he does this kind of recommandation quite often and you should find he kind of advice you are looking for.
If they manage to release a mini cabinet with SegaSonic and proper controls, that would be something much more interesting than just a bunch of MegaDrive ROMs and an instabuy for many Sega fans.
@Andee I also hope that this mode will be in the collection but that depends which version (Arcade or console) Capcom decides to include. I am not sure but I think the arcade version has all the improvements and extra characters the console versions added but the world tour wouldn't have made sense in arcades. That needs to be confirmed though.
@Andee The world tour mode was actually ported to the Dreamcast and Saturn versions. Maybe on PSP but I am not sure as I never touched this version but it is quite likely.
Doesn't look really good, they should just use an Astro city style instead of a weird Saturn logo. They also need to use a Sega button layout instead of a Vewlix layout.
I am sure that, at some point, developers will be able to make perfect pixel art style with 3D engines and we won't be able to notice the difference. It will be voxels but we will just see regular pixels so saying that pixel art will not be "viable" depends on on how tools evolve and we have seen that a lot has changed during the last 2 decades so it will be probably be the same.
It's funny because English is not my native language but when it was released, my English was getting good enough to get good grades at school and I was able to understand what was going on in this game but the fact that it was badly acted is something I couldn't notice. For me, it was just a way to hear some English as all the movies and TV series were dubbed (VHS were always dubbed). As the game was not translated in all European languages, I am almost sure I am not the only one. Oh, and that same year (1998), I got Mega Man 8 at Chritsmas. The US dub had the same effect on me.

@slider1983 Maybe it will help if you have a look at the Coca Cola Game Gear: https://www.gamecash.fr/thumbnail-600/console-en-boite-edition-coca-e145349.jpg
Or even the offical red Micro Game Gear: https://segabits.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/GGM-Red.jpg

Re: 8BitDo Is Releasing A Retro Mechanical Keyboard To Mark Saturn's 30th Birthday
@DeciderVT Same for me, I am French so these keyboards are definitely not useful for people who need different layouts and extra letters.
Re: How Do You Improve Street Fighter II? By Adding RPG-Style Experience Points, Of Course
Console versions of Street Fighter Alpha 3 had a solo mode which was a bit similar and I really liked that back in the day.

Re: 'Super Mario Collection' Is A New Fanmade Book Documenting Over 9000+ Items
It made me think about this French book: https://www.editionspixnlove.com/artbooks/653-mario-goodies-collection-classic-edition-9782918272861.html
I thought it was a translation at first.

It is also available on Deezer so it is likely available on most platforms.

Re: Sega's Astro City Mini Is Getting A Limited Run Games Release In The US
The console is also supposed to be released in France by Just For Games. I don't know if that means that could release it elsewhere in Europe but it should be easier to import than a US version.
