I remember using a Game Genie on Earthworm Jim on the SNES and we got it so we had infinite big gun and invinciblity, great fun, until we got to one of the Bosses and because of the cheats being on it was imposible. Got stuck on some spikes which you could not jump out of but because we were invincible you were just stuck there.
I love SEGA consoles and did until the end. But I would rather have remakes on the switch than mini consoles. The Saturn was a brilliant console but it’s was a shame Sony has bought up most of the developers for their PlayStation. Then Dreamcast was amazing but once again didn’t have the games so failed.
Treasure Island Dizzy, was the best and played it to death. Only one problem with the version on the C64 (which I had) there was a bug that you could never reach the final coin.
@Alucard83 I was talking about Second Life the online game (not sure if its still around as it was from the mid to late 2000s) where you can buy and sell things and chat, not the afterlife
Still have no interest in this console especially as they have not showed someone actually holding the console, its all 3D renders. Is it a console only available on Second Life??
I'm more or less the same started on a C64, then Master System 2 then SNES, except I played the games I bought. Also I hated that the SNES games came in cardboard so chucked the packaging and just kept the manual and cartridge. The Mega Drive and Master System games came in plastic boxes which was so much better.
Mine are in my Dad's loft, but i don't know what to do with them as I don't play them, but they are such a part of my life. Along with the around 200 C64 games on tapes. Also my wife said that they are not moving in to our house. So will have to do something with them soon as i think my Dad is looking to sell his house soon.
