@Stocksy You obviously have zero knowledge on what Games Master was. It was never about celebrities battling it out against each other. It was ordinary children and teenage gamers. And no one is gatekeeping. I again suggest you look into what you are talking about before spewing crap.
@Samwise7 TV executives think the world will only watch anything if celebrities are involved. They barely understand why TV viewings have been on the downward spiral the past couple of decades.
Earthworm Jim, the biggest game they probably have for this system, isn't going to do anything in terms of sales. It needed to be on other other platforms, which will probably happen when this system fails and fades into nothing.
I already have a modded PS1 to play any game and the only other thing I want is to find a decent Saturn that can also be modded. I see no desire for such a product though I congratulate them on what they have accomplished especially with Saturn emulation though I assume it’s existing software they’re using?
@carlos82 @NESlover85 Probably indefinitely being delayed until one day it's suddenly and quietly cancelled... In other words, a scam to get money from those who helped crowd fund it.
@Nintendo_Ninja I didn't know Nintendo owned the Seattle Mariners.
If only Sega put as much money, resources and effort into their games and consoles as they did with their marketing, maybe they wouldn't have screwed up with the Sega CD, X32 and Saturn. The Dreamcast is actually a good system, so I don't have anything negative to say. Just a pity Sega were near bankrupt at the time.
Sony would have made loads of money in royalties from both software and hardware of the SNES PlayStation giving then reason to head into the console industry.
Sega's Saturn would have remained the 2D powerhouse it was but without the last second 3D capabilities added on which would have damaged them further as well as public interest in the industry until both Nintendo and Sony finally launched their own consoles, now running in the industry against each other. Sega wouldn't have seen Sony's 3D tech demos so wouldn't have been too concerned about trying to go down that route despite the deals Sega of America tried to put in place with various hardware companies to do so.
In the end it was always going to go the way it has, just perhaps not quite so fast.

Re: Trademark For Intellivision Amico Has Been Abandoned
I’m curious whether this was ever intended to actually be released or whether it was a scam?

Re: Hardware Classics: Unpacking The 32X, Sega's Most Catastrophic Console Failure
Wow... those adverts. So 90s. So Sega. Obviously didn't help push sales of the unit.

Re: Rumour: Leading Japanese Game Company Kidnapped Dev's Sister To Stop Them From Working With Nintendo
@arronishere I will but I kinda have an idea of whom it maybe. Two names sound about right.

Oh my God that's really scary! This just helps prove that we live in a messed up world.
Re: Feature: What If The SNES PlayStation Had Actually Happened?
Here's how I think it would have all gone down:
Sony would have made loads of money in royalties from both software and hardware of the SNES PlayStation giving then reason to head into the console industry.
Sega's Saturn would have remained the 2D powerhouse it was but without the last second 3D capabilities added on which would have damaged them further as well as public interest in the industry until both Nintendo and Sony finally launched their own consoles, now running in the industry against each other. Re: Feature: Meet The Unsung Pioneer Behind The Most Reviled Zelda Games Of All Time
Very sad to hear DeSharone has passed away, regardless of what those games turned out as. RIP.
