@abdias Emulation on Retro Freak isn't that great, uses an older version of Snes9x with speed hacks (weak hardware) and a lot of games that use Mode 7 lack color gradients.

@cleveland124 Kega Fusion? Really? Ha ha ha ha ha! It doesn't even come close to emulating the YM2612 properly. Blast 'Em and M2Engage (Genesis Mini) does a better job.

I did have some hope for this, until they took cheap shots at Analogue and goaded them for using FPGA systems. Sure it's a high quality emulation device, but come on, grow the heck up, you troglodytic fools.

Ah yes Polymega, the punks who've been discrediting and disparaging companies like Analog on Twitter, claiming that FPGA is worse than using traditional software emulation. How anyone can defend these arrogant morons is beyond me.

@BulkSlash Essentially, FPGA uses hardware emulation, which is nearly cycle-accurate, but much more difficult to pull off and emulating systems like N64 via FPGA are excruciatingly difficult. So they turned to HLE, which is fast, but terribly inaccurate. What a waste of potential.

@Whalehome Limitations of FPGA chips, they are very powerful but have limitations, as they simulate, rather than emulate hardware.

Sega can't even get the sound right with its Steam games, if this can the sound as good as the unofficial stuff, then I'm sold.
