I really wish Ancient had been in charge of the SMS/GG Sonic games all the way through. Aspect's games were very hit and miss.

@PKDuckman I think getting the rights for Heretic 2 would require working with Activision. I thought it would be more of a challenge since Heretic 2 is third person.

@JackGYarwood Probably getting it confused with Soldier of Fortune. I'm guessing all those years ago when I played NOLFE at my friend's house it was the PS2 version as it couldn't be anything else. I bought the PC version not long after.

Could have sworn it was ported to Dreamcast but in retrospect PS2 makes sense.

Great to see these remastered. Got them for free as well due to owning it on Steam. Loved these back in the day. Never played the sequels although that would be more of a challenge for Nightdive they should work on.

To be honest I'm more likely to buy the Steam version at some point. An off branded MD release doesn't appeal to me.

@BausRifle Fun games are fun games. They're platformers and platformers with memory testing but that doesn't mean they're bad. The person you're responding to doesn't seem to realise that.

This is very true. The BBC is promoting AI and on a program they did they showed an example of AI being used as a way to help kids in school. I'm still however not convinced. 🤔

The problem I have with his mods is that it adds stuff but ends up removing other stuff.

It's a very impressive port considering the hardware and what the original game was asking.

I want to see a happy ending to this. Chris Sorrell needs to make a big enough fuss about it to get the character back in his hands, away from these people. Distancing himself is just letting the character rot, not rescuing the IP.

That's not great, however ask yourself how many times does this happen? Putting the spotlight on a company is all well and good but I very much doubt in Evercade's growing library this is a one off scandal. 🤔

I very much doubt Nostalgia Nerd's response will satisfy the anti-YouTuber trolls like Simon Butler, George Bum, Retro Simp, etc. They don't really have priorities about exposing what are actual issues in gaming. I had zero interest in Barcadia and due to the location didn't see the point. However, I don't think it was a scam. By being a YouTuber however he made himself a target of troll accounts, some who tend to obsess about Kieran Hawkin among others as well. I can confirm he has blocked the negative reoccurring faces that have appeared on his social media accounts.

@Ristar24 All three were a lot of fun and are pretty enjoyable platformers. I do have a soft spot for the first game as well.

A sequel is great although remasters of the first two games with better frame rates would be more helpful at this stage.

@h3s Half the library was made for PAL so that could explain why. Anybody playing Lucky Dime Caper in 60fps is playing it incorrectly.
