Never even heard of it before. Is it a proper game, or a free to play/service game? Since you can't even play the game, after it shuts down, it sound like GaaS.
Never had any problems with any of my cartridge based retro consoles. My old Atari 2600 and Vectrex, works just as well today, as when I got them 40 years ago.
I also got a Mega SG and Super NT last year, even though I still have working original hardware, and a CRT. The more alternative, to keep playing these carts, the better.
This is why I'm also glad that emulation/FPGA exists. It might be the only way too play these games, in the future.
Though I hope that someone will create parts for the SNES, in the future. As we got plenty of modern replacement parts, for retro computers now (for the C64, Amiga etc.), these things will hopefully continue to be resurrected.
I hope that they re-release Kid Icarus Uprising, and A Link Between Worlds, on modern systems, so it won't be locked away forever, on the 3DS.
Especially Uprising, deserves to be played on a big screen, since it has some really epic moments in there. And it would play so much better, with dual analogue sticks.
It's too bad, that we probably wont get another Kid Icarus game...
It's incredible how he made this game, in such a short time. It's actually fun, if you take the time to learn how to play it.
It sucks that this game got so much *****, since it wasn't even the reason why the video crash happened. It was because of all the horrible shovelware games, that flooded the market.
I still use an old OSSC. Scanlines look better when using 720p on it, but it still looks great on my 4K screen. I'm not really into the obsession about making the pixels 4K über sharp, since they never was that sharp on a regular CRT either. Still use my old 21 inch Sony Trinitron, for my retro computers.
@BLAZINOAH The current "rebooted" Atari, is owned by new people. There have been many different companies, that owned the Atari name, during the years. Current Atari, got nothing to do with those Infogrames days.
I used to collect for PC Engine, back in 2011-2012. Back then the prices was still okey. But now they have become so damn expensive, I feel the pain of anyone starting to collect for the system today. Especially the Shmups. If I still had my collection, I would probably buy this. But I'll just stick with playing the games on my Analogue Pocket.
Hopefully the bubble will burst soon, so the prices comes down again.
Alien Breed and Qwak is fun. But the rest is either mediocre or trash. The problem with Amiga games is, that a lot of them had amazing graphics and sound, for the time, but the controls, framerate and gameplay sucked. I actually played more C64, at the time, as a lot of those games had more fun gameplay. They couldn't rely on fancy graphics, to hide terrible gameplay.

Okey. I hope they can release it on consoles instead.

Re: Review: Zuiki X68000 Z - An Expensive But Appealing Substitute For The Real Thing
It's cool, but way overpriced.
l'll continue to use emulation through Retroarch instead.

Re: Arcade Games Are Coming To Polymega
Or just download retroarch, and play all the arcade games you want, on your PC etc.
Re: Treasure Wants To "Make Something" Next Year
Still hoping for a Gradius VI.

Sweet!
Looking forward to play the homebrews and prototypes.
I hope they continue to update the collection.
Re: Molyneux On Fable 3's Shortcomings: "It May Have Been My Fault"
Never got into these games, as even the first two, felt a bit janky.
Re: Cyborg Force Is A New Run 'N Gunner For Neo Geo, PSP, Dreamcast, & More
Looks incredibly generic. With poor character designs.
There's already hundreds of these cheap looking Contra/Metal Slug clones on Steam and consoles.
Imagine paying 333 euros for this.
But we all know the Neo Geo completionists gotta have this, no matter what the price 😂
Re: A Demo For Terarin's 'Missile Dancer 2' Is Now Available On Steam
The games it pays tribute to, both looks and plays better than this.
